My 20 minute family mini sessions are designed to be quick, fun, and stress-free, making it easy to update your family portraits while keeping things relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. Your family grows and changes every year. Let's preserve these precious moments together.
For over ten years, I’ve had the honor of working with hundreds of beautiful families. Some of these families have grown with me over the years, and there’s no greater joy than being trusted time and time again to document their lives. It’s a privilege to create timeless artwork that captures the love, laughter, and connection unique to every family. You’ll never regret investing in professional portraits—because these moments, and the memories we preserve together, are truly priceless.

mini session
First, book your session by paying a 50% retainer fee
Your 50% nonrefundable retainer fee officially reserves your time on my calendar, and it covers my raw costs and the time going into the prep, the session itself, and the editing of your photographs. The remaining half of your session balance is due 48 hours before the mini session date.
view your proofs and choose YOUR FAVORITES
Approximately 5-7 days after your photoshoot date, you will receive a fully watermarked online proofing gallery to view all of the images that we captured during your photo session. These "soft proofs" will be lightly edited so you can have an idea of what to expect on your final copies. You have 48 hours to choose your favorites. At this time, you can also place an order for extra digital images or printed products.
FInally, Receive your FINAL PHOTOGRAPHS AND ENJOY YOUR BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK
Now that you've chosen your favorite images, you can sit back while I work my magic! All images are professionally hand-retouched by me. Final digital copies will be delivered in 5-7 days once you choose your favorites.

Your family session includes up to 20 minutes of photo session coverage at Audubon Park in New Orleans. I work as quickly as I can to fit as many poses as I can into a mini session so that your gallery has lots of variety.

Common FAQs
Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: I began practicing photography back in 2015. I was in high school and I mostly photographed my friends to gain experience. As I got better, I began taking clients here and there. Photography was a part-time job for me until I graduated college in 2022. After graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in History, I decided to dive into my photography business full-time! I absolutely love what I do, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I truly feel so blessed that I have the opportunity to have my passion as my career.
Q: How many SESSIONS have you photographed?
A: Since I began practicing in high school, I have photographed HUNDREDS, possibly over a thousand clients at this point! It's hard to keep track of how many wonderful people I have met and photographed over the years. I have experience in several niches from themed mini sessions, to weddings, to families, to newborns, to events, to schools, and more!
Q: So, I pay my 50% retainer fee now and then PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE 48 HOURS BEFORE THE SESSION? iS THAT RIGHT?
A: That's right! Your 50% retainer fee covers the time spent in the prep, art direction, photography session itself, as well as the editing time. Once I deliver your online gallery showcasing the photographs captured during your session, you will then be able to choose your favorites and purchase additional images and artwork if you choose..
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I primarily use a Sony a7iii with an 85mm 1.8 and 35mm 1.8 lens. These are my two FAVORITE prime lenses and they are perfect for pretty much every pose I plan for. My camera also contains dual slots, so I have TWO memory cards that are simultaneously writing your files, ensuring that there is a backup for worst case scenarios.
Q: CAN I PRINT MY DIGITAL IMAGES MYSELF? ARE YOUR ARTWORK PRODUCTS BETTER THAN WHAT i CAN PRINT MYSELF?
A: A print release is included in all family mini sessions. You have permission to print your images on your own and share them to social media. However, I always suggest purchasing artwork from me. All of my printed products are sourced from high-quality vendors that only sell to professional photographers. The quality is impeccable and much better than you'll find in retail stores available to the public.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: For mini sessions, AfterPay and Klarna are available as payment methods upon request!
Q: what happens if the weather forecast isn't great?
I will reschedule the mini session date if there happens to be inclement weather. If you are unavailable on the rescheduled date, I will happily process a refund, or transfer your payment to a future mini session date.

I can help you pick outfits that look best with the scenery. During the session, I will guide you through all of the poses and facial expressions.
